I wasn't satisfied the way rear brake was behaving so changed the brake shoes with the new ones even though old ones were nowhere near to be worn out. But problem still remained same. There is just too much gap between pads and drum and by the time pads touch the drum, i am already out of lever so result is poor braking.
I don't know if it's my drum or suzuki has reduced the size of their braking shoes.
For now have done a little jugaar to make up for it. A flexible wire rapped at one end to lift the shoes a bit thus bringing them closer to the drum, and result is Very Good. A little disappointed though, that i had to do even this basic thing by myself
Headlight's high beam stopped working while lower beam was working fine. So opened the headlight and checked connections and concluded that it's a simple case of fused element or something. Went to the market to get new bulb and they had a "Desi" one for 50 rupees and "Imported" one for 180 rupee. Obviously i got the good one and fitted it and it's working fine.
