Dear @hakiani brother:
Asalamoalaikum Wa Rahmat Ullah
First off, congrats for having been blessed with such a nice car in an even nicer colour. I appreciate your approach and concern for maintaining the car right from the outset. But remember continuity with patience is the key to a life long paint finish that looks great and turns heads. So here's the deal:
Ask the Honda dealership not to wash your car's exterior during PDI. If they inflict (which they most likely will) swirls on a new car, you will have to get it corrected later on. So try to avoid that.
Next, when you bring your baby home, wash it yourself with the infamous 2 Bucket Wash method. For this, you will require these:-
MF Wash Mitts: 2 (Upper and Lower Halves)
MF General Purpose Towels: 2
MF Plush Towel: 1 (For Buffing)
MF Woven Drying Towel: 1 (Optional)
Buckets: 2
Grit Guards: 2 (One for each bucket)
Shampoo with lots of suds but no wax content
Good quality wax

4. Remember when I said continuity with patience is the key? Well, now that you washed and waxed your car, make a habit of washing it as soon as it is required and wax at least once a month if you live in a dusty neighborhood with hot weather. Always apply a very thin coat of wax. Multiple layers will give no extra protection but just ensure uniform coverage of the car. Spend sensibly on the detailing products, not necessarily more.
Have a great day
