OK, to be very frank here, a home audio system does not work well in a car.
You can run whatever you want, its a personal choice but running a home audio system in a car is not a very good idea. For the following few reasons:
- 220 Volts is dangerous. One faulty wire and you can burn your car or kill someone (including yourself).
- You will put an extra load on the battery and alternator of your car. You will spend a lot of money in repairs later if you dont reach point number one first.
- Home Audio is normally 8 ohms. It is louder then a 4 ohm system but its 4 ohms and below for a reason.
- Home Audio is bulky.
You are better off selling the inverter and the rest of the system and buying a proper car audio setup which will be safer and also sound a lot better.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, you will damage the amplifier you are using on a normal inverter unless your inverter outputs a pure sine wave (which means any desi inverter will not work)
