Dear Tahir Bhai,
ill answer your questions one by one. My current ride is on my display pic. Its an Audi a4 Model b5 year 2000 and its a 1.6liter machine (1600cc...i have been living in germany for 8+ years and audi is found very commonly so nothing special about this ride)driven ONLY 128k and i bought it for 2400 euros(equivallent to approx. 330k) in feb 2014. The car is rock solid and very reliable... i recently tried a toyota prius (seller was asking 8500 euros) as well but there is no comparison between both when it comes to drive comfort although prius is very reliable!!!
in pakistan my family still has 97 model mehran and we are considering to change it. that is why, few days ago, i started to look for car prices in pak and came to pakwheels. I haven't yet bought or sold(and don't plan to sell any untill now) any car from PW. I am planning to buy either a city or a corolla(not sure yet). In pak, car prices are pretty high as compared to germany (or europe and usa). I think the reason might very well lie in the fact that cars here are way more cheaper to maintain(like changing oil...costs nothing as compared to germany) and the second reason might be that sellers mostly don't just throw their cars away which is a good thing but seen from the other side, they ask for outrageous prices(no..not talking about you personally..you have just demanded while looking at market)....
Now let us be specific about your car....i appreciated your car but was just wondering whether somebody would buy it with this asking price BECAUSE - and ill give few examples only it has done 81k on Pakistani roads and its not under Warranty anymore !!! and most probably..car's interior has taken jolts from pakistani roads so it must be noisier and not as firm as compared to a brand new one..suspension must have taken some serious blows on those pakistani roads as well and unless you have totally replaced it with a new one, a buyer would never get the feeling of a brand new suspension. Moreover if something happens to the car, then the buyer(which starts to happen with almost every car after few years ) must pay for it on his own...... and i think one can point our so many things to look for in a 5-6 years old car...you must agree that it does not feel like a new car anymore after this much amount of time and on those roads!!!again i don't have any problems with your car or its asking price..i am just wondering about the state of mind of buyer who would pay 81% of the price of new car for a 5-6 years old car!!!
that is why ,considering those things, every used car in pak is overly priced but it becomes severe when the price gap between brand new and used gets very small because (and i would say it again)...those who buy used car for prices pretty close to the price of new cars dont consider many many aspects of buying a car(dont want to call anybody idiot so i used these softer words :). Btw most probably ill have to become one of those idiots too in july although ill try to reduce the idiocy by buying a pretty old car-between 2003 and 2007 just to keep idiocy factor at minimum while getting maximum for the money- so that there will a considerable price gap between the price of brand new car and mine...but if it doesn't happen then ill buy a brand new city for 1650k!!! )
coming back to your car...as you say..it must be in good condition ..and with accessories which you have put on your car..it must worth more ..but remember you cannot expect to fetch each and every penny for those accessories installed because you like those things on your car but not everybody wants those things...e.g for me only back view cam would be of interest and the rest just doesn't matter.
btw would you please tell me ,how much did these accessories cost of in total?
i agree that your car is better than that blue one and if the price of 2009 model is around or more than 1300k then you must get it!!! dont sell it for anything less than that...i was just thinking about the buyer...why would he/she buy any 2009 model in this price range when new one is available for another 300k (again...not specifically your car!)
and yes i AM A DRAWING ROOM CRITIC if you want to call it this way!!!! because ill use my brain before buying a car and ill think about everything , every factor and then buy a car (while sitting in my drawing room and plan things)..i dont want to follow bheer chaal(which is pure idiocy atleast in this case)..and if i have to then ill keep the damage to minimum
