I think you have never actually done a swap yourself, when you do and do it with careful calculation, you will understand what I said a few posts above.

Ive seen people stuff a B16 into a charade and go for races. The swap had the right axle length so small that a bump of even 1 inch caused the axle spider to "swing out" from the joints - then when you put a jack under the car to lift for servicing you could see the whole car creak (BAD) - The problem was that the owner did not care and spent every weekend at the "suspension ustaad"
There are better things in life than a mechanics shop. So being rational and sensible do swaps that actually are measured and calculated. The people who designed your car were not "ustaad jee mechanic" that say that thermostats are for areas that have snow.
