Like my brother (Skullbox) mentioned, there wasnt any alteration done to the chassis to fit the 2nz-fe. However, I would suggest you to go for a 1sz-fe since the 2nz-fe is an expensive proposition. Do keep in mind that the transmission for these engines is a little expensive. If you get the 4wd converted one, that would be cheaper but would have different gear ratios and would be a little noisy. At the end of the day, you would be spending around the same amount both for the 1sz-fe and for a 4efe or maybe more on the 1sz. If you plan on getting a 4efe, get a 5 forward transmission and not a 4 forward one. Though I'd like to mention here that parts for the 4e are getting rarer in the market and you often end up buying parts taken off of locally driven cars which already would have seen lots of kms and would wear out pretty soon if they already arent.
