It's normal; it probably included lots of idling and vroom vroom action on part of the dealer. Don't worry about fuel consumption problems yet; read below to avoid oil consumption problems later on.
Be sure to run the new car through the gears, varying RPM and load, and giving a few short bursts of acceleration the 4k-5k RPM (only on completely warm engine). Include plenty of engine braking, and avoid unnecessary idling. These conditions are easy to fullfil in city and GT road conditions; avoid the motorway for at least until 300 km or so, or even longer.
New brakes also need a break in period; don't brake hard for the first 300 km.
Also, don't get the oil changed until specified by the owner's manual; Hondas are filled with a special break in oil, and it needs to be used as long as possible.
