for this to function, you need a cabin temperature sensor (its behind the little grille that you have on the lower dash panel by your knees, behind that should be an airhorn that connects to either a pipe that goes to the suction side of the blower assy or have its own dedicated motor.
Next you need an outside temperature sensor and also input from the ECU for engine temperature (to make the heater valve function and regulate blower speed only when the engine gets hot).
Its not exactly DIY as the Pak made corollas lack all these sensors. There is only a bellows sensor on the evaporator coil of the A/C to control the compressor.
