Yup. Prices are really fluctuating. Depends on car's condition and options. I guess 1.5X should be in range of 15.5 to 16.5 lacks whereas 1.5G should be in range of 16 to 17.5 lacks. This is my personal obdervations as I am looking for Axio these days and am kinda confuse whether to buy good condition AXIO or new Gli.. :what:
Im planning to use liqui molii engine oil this time, since 10w30 isn't available, which one should i use?
I've been using Liqui Moly Synthoil 5W40 for 18 months now, keeping the drain interval 7.5k - 10k KM or 1 year (whichever comes first).
So how goes your Axio hunt? and I'd personally prefer getting Altis over GLI
should i also get my engine flushed as i would be shifting from havoline?
I didn't, just changed the oil early @ 7k for first change. Make sure car is hot while getting the oil changed so that oil easily and quickly drains out when changing.
^ great, and which oil filter should i use, i hear guard is good but need an expert opinon.
Also does anyone knows about tyres rotation in axio as per owners manual ?
I am not an expert but when I opened up the guard filter (ref: https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/oil-fuel-fluids-filters/230234-guard-oil-filter-tear-down?highlight=), it was pretty good. A better oil filter than the guard one would be a Japanese OEM oil filter (its available at Toyota Rawal), its pretty costly though.
Right, care to share the cost of that OEM filter?
Also recently, an axio x got stolen from pindi, i thought it had immobilizer ?
X doesn't have immobiliser and oil filter was for 1500 I think.
My axio is giving me 11 or sometime 10 km/l in city. Any ways to improve. I changed plugs. Throtlle body serviced. I dont let the eco off and normally drive at 40 km/h. Kindly help me out axio lovers. I want full economy from it????

40 km/h isn't a speed with which you achieve a good fuel economy. Actual 13-15 km/l fuel economy comes with a light pedal and on average speed greater than 60-70 km/h
but in harsh traffic how would i speed up to 60??
You won't which in turn means you wouldn't get an optimal fuel economy. That's just how it is and the reason why hybrids are so economical.
Hmm. Rite. Thanks
I am using total quartz 5000 in my axio x 2007. Is it ok? Or i need to switch to some other ?
Total quartz 5000 I believe is 20W50, change your oil to the recommended grade which I've mentioned in the first post of this thread i.e. 5W30, 10W30, 5W40 of rating API SN or API SM e.g Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 or Liqui Moly synthoil 5W40 or Caltex Havoline 10W30 etc
Wont switching oil result in causing knocking or something else ? Like is it safe ???
Safe of course, its the recommended viscosity as per the car's user-manual.
