Dear members & experts,
The other day I had to get replaced 1 large bushing of left lower arm of my Toyota Corolla 2007. I had a few questions regarding bush replacement as following.
1- Since there are 2 hollow cavities or holes in the bush of 9th gen corolla, so my question is that, is there some specific method to install this bush.
2- Should the hollow cavities be oriented in specific directions or should the bush be placed randomly & then pressed, as was done by the "Khiradia". I am specifically concerned about this because I don't think the cavities are purposeless. My perception is that if the cavities are wrongly placed before pressing the bush into the lower arm, the bush might not last long & will crack again soon. And I don't think local mechanics & "khiradias" care much about this thing.
Experts are requested to guide & give their valuable inputs regarding this. Thanks!
