I created this thread about 8 years ago, to help out people facing Honda CVT issues.
Over the years, there has been less contribution to the thread claiming improvements after the process.
I certainly felt the difference anytime my car battery died and I had to redo the calibration
Most people nowadays ask about:
1. Which shop can do this calibration?
2. I changed the CVT oil, now feeling the shudder and want to have this done?
I ,now, feel that most users do not need this, cannot tell the difference it makes, and are trying to use this method as a last resort to revive a poorly maintained vehicle. These CVT models (the ones that came with the start clutch) are now about 16 years old, been through many kilometers over the years, and probably need a rebuild or a replacement. Therefore, the inapplicable content is removed in the community's interest
