An old assignment of ours but thought of sharing with the fellow PW Offroader's. The cause being to "be there when fellow offroaders require any assistance".
We at Emarat4x4 received a help call from another offroad club in UAE (arabian offroad academy), they went to a offroad trip to Liwa (Rub Al Khali), one of the world's biggest desert, and unfortunately a clutch got fried in middle of nowhere. They had already tried various methods to recover/tow/pull out the vehicle but nothing seemed to work as the vehicle was in a big bowl surrounded by soft sands.
After carefully analyzing the circumstances, we at Emarat4x4 decided to take our own team of technicians to the site and drive it out. We tilt the Jeep carefully without damaging the sides and with help of three winches, 1st to pull on left side, 2nd to pull opposite to avoid sudden tilt and 3rd to detach and attach gear.
