Started with a dilemma to either purchase a Patrol or BJ60, I finally ended up purchasing an army auction RKR Alhamdullilah. The jeep is currently in the painting process and is done with the mechanics. There was slight mechanical work which I believe the jeep is going to take some time to settle as the vehicles go through different environments while waiting for being auctioned which affect their ability till they reach the end customers and the restoration process starts.Although I couldn't take pictures of every step that took place but yes there are quite a few which I will upload. The pictures are attached below for better understanding.
When it finally reached the mechanic, the jeep was brought in a truck to avoid any major damage as we were not sure and aware of the seal leakages. But Alhamdullilah there were no such issues found.
Mashallah, is this vehicle restoration going on in workshop just adjacent to momand oil near ftc bridge ?
how much did the rig cost ?can soft top rkr be converted to hardtop rkr ?
@mypakistan Yes sir it's the same one
@salmanrasheedpsh Yes sir, it can be converted into hard top. Some iron works needed or if you want a fiber top, that too is an option.
Anyone aware where can I get such fabric here in Karachi? I'm planning to have a soft top of this design
I checked it last week thier , when some electrician works on your LC.
@mypakistan yes sir, the guy was installing the electrical wires.
Some more pictures for Pakwheelers.Today the painter is going to apply astar and then manjhai. The jeep was driven for more than 50 km today and I could feel the raw power it has. Simply amazing.
Nice. Best of luck with the restoration.
