Some one tweeted about that very picture, from 2005. Interestingly, those three drivers have shared the podium 5 times and on all 5 occasions the driver in the middle of both pictures has stood on the top step of the podium:)
@genius83
I see that your friend is designing this track too so i expect it to be his signature boring track with little or no character. The first sector looks good, seems like he is still copying different tracks. Turn one looks to be from Brands Hatch, uphill right hander there, it's uphill left hander in this case. The left right left remind me of Donnington Park's craner curves or could be inspired from Silverstone. Who knows what he copies.
I don't like sector two; that's his signature long straight followed by a tight first or second gear corner and a straight after that, his way of providing over-taking opportunity:P He does that at almost every track he designs. I hate the guy!!
Sector three looks good though with a few flowing corners. Hard to form an opinion unless someone races on it. Might turn out to be a good one but some how doubt it given that it's him and Americans!! Long straight, 90 left, long straight 90 right is their idea of a road course. Of course seeing cars turn right would be a big shock to the Americans.
Wasn't Kevin Schwantz or someone like that supposed to design the track?
@Eddie
You sure you want to read that? It's not who you think it is. Misleading picture
