@xulfiqar
As you might have come across my posts, I swapped in d15b dual vtec (3 stage). Since then, the EGR valve was only wired up, but no vacuum line was connected. This is because there was no EGR solenoid to open/close the vacuum passage from EGR valve to IM.
Yesterday I went to several shops and found one Denso vacuum solenoid. Tested it there and its working.
Now I hooked it up with the vacuum lines: EGR valve connected to one end of solenoid, then solenoid connected to IM. The direction was also indicated on the solenoid, and installed in the direction that gases go from EGR to IM (since the nipple on the back of the IM is sucking air in when open). The vacuum solenoid was connected with the red and black wire coming out of the harness.
Just to let you know, before the nipples (yes there are 2) at the back of IM were just blocked off. One nipple is for the EVAP, while the other for EGR.
So now the problem is, the car drives fine for 3-4 mins, and then under 3k rpm its all bogging down and if I press the clutch the engine stalls. I tried switching the vacuum pipe at the back of the IM (considering I might have hooked to the EVAP nipple), but same happens with the other nipple as well.
Then I just stopped over, took off the vacuum pipe from the EGR valve, and simply plugged the pipe with a screw.
What could be the issue? Have I hooked it up in a wrong way? Is the EGR valve blocked or something? I assume if it was blocked, it would work the same way like blocking the nipple at back if IM.
I used this diagram to hook the EGR solenoid up.
