AoA all !
I would like inputs from all experienced ppl regarding the problem I'm facing and would try to mention all the possible symptoms to isolate the cause ..
I'm having Suzuki Cervo 660cc, Turbo Intercooler, 70k km and using it for last 4 years. I've driven it on different terrain and it drives as good as any bigger car. I've taken it upto 140 kph which is the highest on Speedo. The only problem I'm facing is that whenever I'm driving it on hilly areas, especially steep one, no matter how hard I try to accelerate, it doesn't produce the required torque to climb up. Its a tiptronic gear and I normally put it in manual 1st gear for driving that steep hill. But to no avail.
What I've found out over a number of hit ans trials that if I give a momentum before cmg to that steep hill, it goes up without any issue but yes the speed is high during that process and I can't lower it as it wud again stop going in the midway and won't climb up. I wud have to come down the hill again to gain momentum and repeat the same procedure. Furthermore, by any chance if I've to stop in midway climbing up hill, no matter how hard I push the accelerator, the car won't go ahead. I hear engine screaming and everything rotating, but no movement ahead.
I do every maintenance in time . Change my oil, filter, plugs periodically. Keep eye on ATF , throttle body cleaning, fuel Injector cleaning. Use hi octane or mix for going up in hilly areas to avoid knocking.
What could be the reason ??
Is there anything to do with the transmission or engine??
AC is not put to ON while climbing. Is it the torque converter which is the culprit??
What measures to be taken to isolate the problem??
All inputs are highly appreciated and I'm ready to reply any queries/ambiguities concerning this problem.
