Cold Start Issue:
If your car is not starting first thing in the morning, then it could be due to 3 major reasons.
a) Weak/dying battery
b) Weak/ dying fuel pump
c) Weak self
If your car does not start after the engine has done a bit of running and is hot for example you stop at a mart and then come back after a few minutes to start the car (The engine is still hot) and it does not start on the first attempt rather takes 2 or 3 tries; then it could be that your car's temperature sensor is malfunctioning. If the issue is not looked into, the next stage is the car will have problems in cold starts too and will not start in the first attempt while it is cold although the battery, the pump and the self all are in good condition.
My suggestion try changing the temperature sensor. FYI... malfunctioning temperature sensor will probably not give a check light on the dash till it completely expires.
