Should i go for beetle buggy project?

Sallam guys need help n suggestions. Should i buy old beetle and restore or create it in to sand buggy.
Should install 1300cc jimny engine and 4x4 gear shaft and auto translation?
its would be 4 seater .
What it will difficult for me to build it by local mechanics.

i can manage steel cage, but how get fiber body?

Hmm,well if you can't get Fiber then get Aluminum covering's just like in the picture's,go for something a bit heavy,if you get fiber the front part or the rear part of the Buggy can start to lift when you hit the pedal if you don't have enough weight applied on that specific end of the Buggy,that too depends on the place where you want to put your engine...in the back or the front of the Buggy),Any way you do it you'll need something to keep one end of the Buggy too firmly stay put on the ground..

fiber glass body...can work.......here in islamabad 1 guy did this converstion..but he was running without roll cage..and no proper tyres and brakes...

you are right steel sheets n cage would be heavy. only fiber would be excellent.
engine should be on back b.c of rear wheel drive and help not to stuck in sand.
