@Darthvader: Hello Alright well this is a choice almost every other person with a budget of around 2 million has to make. In MY opinion, I suggest you should buy a CL9.
People here have this concept that ALL Honda Accords available here are abused, however, that is totally misleading. All you have to do is search for a nice clean one and I'm sure you will come across Accords that are kept with care.
Fuel consumption is obviously more than an Altis and a Civic but it's good considering its a K24.
Ride comfort and luxury is definitely better with the Accord.
Accords are built to last, our 1988 Accord was almost 500,000km driven when we sold it, never had any major problem with it, so yeah Accord will be VERY reliable and durable, no match with a Civic or an Altis here.
All spares are easily available and are not that expensive like some people would say, it's all worth it once you have an Accord.
Low ride height is not an issue, sounds exaggerated, drive with care and you'll actually enjoy the low ride height.
Forget the resale while buying a car, just a personal opinion, and not that the Accord has a bad resale.
Try looking for a low mileage Accord, and make sure the condition tells it's been driven that low, look for any signs of repainting, make sure it's a well maintained car, look for mechanical problems, you don't get any mechanical problems in an Accord this early but just to make sure, if all is good, it doesn't matter if it's driven 20,000km or 60,000km, go for it.
Like I said, not ALL Accords are abused, that's just what people think, you just have to search for the right one, you'll be more than glad to own one
I suggest you keep the CL7 as an option too
Hope this helped
