Yes, I think it is worth it. And apart from these controls, I also got DVD, bluetooth connectivity, reverse camera, good speakers and a face-lifted interior as well.

Yes, your DIY was very helpful indeed, but there were a few reason for which I had to take it to someone else. One, I didn't have tools and it was just a random decision to get it installed on that particular day. I went to Islamabad and was free so took it to Disco. I did not plan it. Second, I did not have the wiring/grips to connect to the clockspring. That had to be made manually. Third, and most importantly, I was not willing to take any panga with Civic's clockspring or other wiring. As when they go wrong, they put you in deep trouble.

The installation was done for 2K rupees. Not cheap but I was not bothered for anything. Just sat and watched with a couple of cups of tea.

At lower RPMs R is quite like anything. On higher RPMs it is a loud and mean thing.

Mention not buddy!!! glad you did it! installation charges were quite resonable i think not bad at all. u had both the grips at both ends all u required were 2 ordinary wires. (next time anyone needs em just contact me) anyhow a job well done once again!!! n zunny is quite happy i had a teeny weeny contribution!!!! ii have some clocksprings with me anyone wanting one now u know where to get it!!
