@muradi
Congratulations... btw, why the engine check light is glowing?
Need to be tune it's knocking in 1st and 2nd
congratulations get the car scanned ASAP
congrats
Will fix it ASAPInshallah
If I am not wrong, delay in tuning doesnt cause the engine light on. I have seen most of the swifts with a CNG kit having the engine light on. I hope your car doesnt have a CNG installed aswell.
Haves CNG But why it's on in Petrol also ??
Now i understand how u got it cheap Get it scanned ASAP, and do a proper checkup Plugs, suspension, everything to make it perfect, is it on CNG and touchups? Post exterior and interior pics
Actually swift runs fine on CNG (as per my knowledge) but the mechanics while installing CNG have to cut some wires due to which the engine light appears. The knocking on 1st and 2nd gear is happening because your cng is not adjusted. When you will ask the mechanics about this engine light, they will say remove the bulb/led from the meter and the engine light wont be visible. I once went to purchase a second hand swift and came across many having the same issue. It appears even on petrol because the wiring is still altered.
theres no telling why the check engine light is on unless your connect it to a scanner
usually because of the advancer wires connected to the MAF the chek light turns on (atleast in my car)the installers are such "kaam chor" that they dont even connect the wires properly
Remove Engine light ???They are freak !!!

Thanks
Congrats!
Its a charming car to drive.
How much did you pay for it ?
Me gathering info for Automatic Swift 2011 - 12 for a family member. Colour preferred White.
It's menual DLX white
From your post it seems as if I am in the favour of removing the light. I would NEVER EVER remove the engine light, this is the solution most of the mechanics will give you. As I told you earlier I didnt go for a second hand swift just because of this issue.
