Continentals are superior in terms of road grip.
Tested both tyres side by side.
Car 1: Grande M/T equipped with Yokohama Advan DB 551. 205/65 R15
Car 2: Gli M/T 2015 equipped with Continental CC5. 195/65 R15
There is a speed breaker in F8 which is on a descent/slope. The road is also quite slippery there.
Whenever Car1 apply brakes at 60 Km/hr speed, its ABS is activated.
Took Car2 on the same location, applied brakes at 60 Km/hr (same distance from speed breaker) ABS was not activated. The car slowed down within no time.
Again tried it with a speed a bit more than 60 Km/hr, still ABS not activated.
Also keep in mind that Continentals were less in width still they provided better grip than wider Yokos.
