its not tht hard lol.... muj ko bhi sirf 1 month hi huva hai... but i already know alot......
1) sometimes when u have many objects, the auto focus will keep focusing on somthing which u dont want...... so for tht, u need to maual focus
2) those red dots inside the viewfinder actually tell u what things are in focus... if it turns red, then it means that spot if focused.
3) if u want to zoom into a certain object, u need telephoto lens (zoom lens) the higher end (second digit) (18-55) (18-135) is the zoom ... the higher the number, the more u can zoom into an object and bring it closer.
4) if u notice, when u zoom your lens, the area also becomes smaller. therefore if u need to capture more in ur pic (like 5-10 people in one pic) then u go for the lower nember lens (wide angle lens)
5) if you want to get better results in the dark, get lower number F ..... it can open the aperture wider so that more light can come in.
TRY THIS for tomorrow.
change ur camera to P mode. (canon) on nikon is S i think.. and bring it down to 1/60.... now move to manual focus and try to focus on a moving car.. (the car should be clear)... now as another car passes by, try to follow the car and click where u actually focused b4.....
this will give u a blurred background but the moving car is will pin sharp
an example.
