Assalaam-O-Alaikum,
This is my first travel story so bear with my mistakes.
I planned this trip in a week and worked very hard to understand the milestones which i had to pass during this trip. Nobody in my family knew about this adventure. Google Maps was my sole guide for this trip. I thank Allah, for this very exciting and adventurous journey and with His blessings we reached home safely. The total petrol consumed for this trip was around 320rs (4-5 liters).
So, Here it begins:
Last Sunday, I went to Gaddani beach on my motorcycle with my cousin. My bike is 2015 model, Union Star, self start, 70cc. Our plan was to leave right after fajar but we couldn't leave at that time. At around 1:15 pm, my cousin called me and said that i kept sleeping and didn't call him in the morning. I told him that he did the same thing and if he wanted to go now, then we can leave within an hour after zohar prayers and lunch.
After zohar prayers, we met at Naheed Store and started our journey at around 2:15 pm. After 35 minutes, we reached Regional Cooperation for Development Highway. Mostly, the speed of my bike throughout the journey was between 40-60km/hr.
Since this was my 2nd trip outside Karachi (my first trip was Russian Beach). I was very excited and a little bit scared b/c of perception we have for the security situation of Balochistan. At around Regional Cooperation for Development Highway, my cousin got the information for the very first time in his life that Gaddani is located in Balochistan. All his excitement was gone by then and he was very scared. Then we saw the "Welcome to Balochistan" board and this board elevated my cousin's frustration to the whole new level.
After we passed the toll plaza, we started seeing big mountains and then we reached some market area. There were shops on both side of the streets and the area was very crowded.
After that we saw, "Welcome to Balochistan" sign board. Here, I must appreciate the road conditions during this trip were superb, except the market area which came right after the toll plaza. The highway road in Balochistan was mostly surrounded by Giant Mountains.
After moving on the never ending road of highway, we saw another sign board on our left side pointing towards Gaddani Area. So we turned left. After few kilometers we reached the point where only left or right turn was possible. There was a sign board at this very location indicating that on our right was a picnic point and on our left was a ship breaking area. I chose left despite my cousin shouting/panicking/ and continued my journey to a point where we saw heaven on earth. I was looking at the most scenic views and I couldn't believe my eyes that such beauty exists in Pakistan. The pictures wont do justice as they had been taken by amatures from mobilephones. We reached at that point by 4:15pm, as far as I remember. We took pictures and videos for about 10 minutes and then a local person told us that we should also visit the picnic area.
