I know of a couple of businessmen who bought a junked crusher from dubai and set it up somewhere outside Karachi where they were recycling rubble into sand or filler. The guys made a TON of money from it - literally.
In the transport business you have to be very smart about the machine you own - its your wage, drivers will screw up the machine on every trip - 75% of the drivers claim to be champs but just one gear shift under full load will show their skill - I have seen them deliberately mismatching engine rpm just because they want to hear the engine (clutch was disengaged - and you are darn revving the engine - MORON)
The other silly part you nearly always saw was 2nd gear start - why in the world would you do that?
If you can drive it yourself - its a good business - a good rig with good maintenance will earn you decent monies.
