Hope you have seen Maxims Resturant near the clifton underpass/UBL Building - there is market behind that resturant -- (dont know the name) also a new Ice cream shop there opp to the General store,,,in the same lane there is a CD's/DVD shop and 2-3 shops next to it - is the shop where you can find the supplements. they have a good collection, if they dont have the one you want the will import it according to your requirment.

good to see atleast someone on this forum picking up weights. i have been picking up since 4.5 years now. been on and off but since 1.5 years i have been regular. just started off with whey protein 4 months back and creatine 20 days back. for me , creatine has shown some cutting. but whey did not really do much. i will upload my arms pic soon so u can see.
p.s:- gaining muscle is not as easy as u think. ppl who think 1 year is good enough , LOL try it !!!

It isn't easy but it isn't impossible.
Proper diet, workout routine and technique are needed.
You have to be disciplined and make some lifestyle changes. The most difficult part : sticking to a routine and NOT being lazy.

Most people don't know what they're dong, like this friend of mine who in the beginning would go to the gym everyday.
Things like that will do the opposite of what you want. Muscles need rest after a work out!!

Those supplements have steroids i think, dont use them, they will cause more harm then good

lol i guess everyone here needs to do a bit more Research b4 throwing in comments.

    Samad17:-
1)whey is just a biproduct of cheese. where u could eat 12 eggs and built 60-70g of protein , u could just take 2 scoops of whey and get tht amount of protien. and thts just wat it does.

    2) creatine is somthing which is already in ur body. ur liver makes it and is a true power house for energy. if u want to lift heavy , it gives u timly boost.

where i agree tht creatine could somtime mess up depending on ur liver capabilities, whey is 100% safe.

whatever ur body weight is, u should have equal amount of protein in order to make some muscle. eating tht much of food will only make u fat and thats not muscle

Obviously he burns a lot off but just think about how much food that is! :|

I just said what i heard of, i never had any supplements, so im just a clean slate when it comes to body building stuff Whey is fine, its in chocolate bars, so shouldnt be a problem taking it, but people with high cholestrol should stay away

yea he swims alot and eats around 6000 calories a day.
lol dont be surprised with tht figure. the "katakut" we eat alone has 2000 . mc donalds deal has around 1000. so i guess normal ppl in pak are actually consuming more then 6000! a day.

original poster , dont worry , start off with whey but make sure its whey isolates. and no aspartin. just gym for 40-50 mins. and when training concentrate on exercise . u should be doing good.

Swimming makes you really hungry anyway. For the past 2 weeks ive been doing around 50-60 lengths in the evening and at dinner time end up eating more than twice i normally would.

Just swimming is great for toning your body.

Might start weights soon. What do you recommend @enerlevel?
I want to do it mainly for strength and toning. As far as i remember my last trainer told me , less weight and more reps.

    doc:-
strength exercising is very different from body building. strength is basically just building up your power while bodybuilding is more muscle building. u know those guys who pick up bars stright up and then throw it down? i forgot wat they call tht lol , they do strength training . their body is crap but they can pick alot of weights.
    secondly the fact is tht
    1) when u eat less , u dont have the energy to pick heavy , so u go light and more reps. and because u are consuming less food, u bcome lean.
    2) when u eat more , u have more energy , so u can pick heavy weight and cause u eat more , u bcome heavy.

    so basically less food=less weight=cutting .
    dosimeter and dosimeter like this.
