Salam everyone.
I am considering to buy Suzuki every wagon pz turbo special 2009 model. The problem is I don't know much about fuel economy of Japanese Cars. The owner is saying the average fuel economy of this 660cc trubo ed. is 12km/ litres. and other model of every wagon are having 18-21km/ litres fuel economy. can anybody please tell me is it a good trade to do with this owner? I mean is there any technical fault in having 12km/ litres fuel economy? Is it okay to have this much fuel economy while considering it is a turbo one?
any help will be appreciated .
Thanks in advance
the reason is TURBO, Turbo drinks more fuel
but I have searched the internet a lil bit, and i found out pz turbo ed is having at least 17-18 km/ litres economy. Is it something bad with this specific owners car? is it fault in this specific model the owner is selling me?
No Carry does more then 12-13 The milage of turbo should be a bit better because it would have more horse power which means better power to weight ratio. Don't expect miracles 12-13 is max!
Stay off boost as much as you can, and you will get better fuel economy. The problem is, its impossible to stay off boost with this little dinky engine.
thankyou all for your responses. thats very helpful. what i am curious about that should every wagon with turbo ed be having this much fuel economy ? is it normal to be having 12 km/ litres fuel economy on 660cc turbo ?
Bro its just a normal car. Dont expect miracles. Ive kept many of these dinkies and the max avg achieved by it was 12-13max.
max average with na 660cc minivan is 10-12 kmpl and 7-9 for turbo or awd models. the turbo kei vans we've kept consumed as much fuel as a 1.8 altis.
and probably the reason is load. as kei van supposed to design having 5-7 person seating capacity. increasing the load results in more fuel consumption right?
remove tubro from a tubro charged engine and you will see lot and lot of black smoke tubro make engine burn more fuel
yep, 660cc are underpowered for even hatch backs. these vehicles have maximum 250kg load capacity which means 3 healthy or 4 average Adults.
All those crapping 660cc underpowered. Have u even driven one?
actually I've driven more than 60 kei cars (20+ models) from Lahore to Sialkot for my uncle who deals in em in past 3 years and owned between 6 kei vans in past five years(not mine, used in dad's office).
3 speed auto transmission 660cc cars i.e Alto till 2009 & Mira 3 Speed auto are underpowered , way too underpowered but cars with Manual & CVT transmission can have a race with Corolla , they are no way underpowered.Have driven many 660cc cars and talking about personal experience
editted
in some other thread you were admitting that a mehran can beat cvt 660cc's and blaming the cvt technology.
kya ya khula tazad nahi?
I don't think so , if i did . Did I really said that ? Possible in some cars , 2013 move CVT is slower the Moco . 2012 move is faster , it depends. But i don't think that mehran can win , i take my statement back lol
Every cant go beyond 12-13 at max...reason being big body and small 660cc engine...very bad power to weight ratiosaying as an owner
Dear bro....let me tell u and mark my words..i havr practical experiance of 2009 suzki every wagon import 2014..it will not cross 10km/l average...i repeat not more then 10 km/l....what ever u do....however may be with v light foot and constant speed of 60 km/h it can do 11 to 12 km/l....u can also ask the efi's mech as well...remember ot has 3 fwd in Auto transmission.
Thanks for all. That is very helping. I have decided not to buy Every Wagon.
