At Mansehra, we stopped for CNG refill and prayer as it was the last station with CNG. After CNG refill, we left KKH and took N-15 (Naran road). After Atter Sheesha, I started to feel a bit uncomfortable. AC was off, windows were down, it was a little cooler outside but I was sweating. Before several kilometers of Balakot near Jaba, it was enough for me and I was going to ask the driver to stop the car.. but the Gilgit policeman beat me to it and asked the driver to stop. We both got out of the car.. He started to vomit at one side and I started to vomit on the other side. Tough time it was.. I was cursing myself that why did I eat.
After getting a bit normal, we again boarded. Reached Balakot which was totally deserted at this time and continued the journey. After the sudden twirling road near Kiwai, I again felt the same and stopped the car for 2nd vomit. This time, every tiny bit of food was released that was in my stomach.
Started the journey again, now I was a bit better so slept and woke when we were stopped by police at some picket. I only heard the words by policeman addressing to our driver, "Baba, aagay dekh ker jana chori hoti hain.. agar koi hath bhee de to nahi rukna".
We again continued and then I suddenly had the feeling of vomiting again, so asked the driver to stop. Don't know which place it was but it must be somewhere near Kaghan. I got off the car and vomited.. but there was nothing in my stomach to come out.. just some bitter water. It felt like someone stabbed me in stomach with a knife and was giving jerks to the knife. I was cursing the moment when I decided to eat in Abbottabad.
Anyway, we again left the place and reached Naran at about 2 AM. It was mutual decision by everyone that we will stay the night in Naran. Naran was deserted at this odd hour. We spotted a random hotel where there was a guy on reception. Talked to him and got a room for 800 Rs with 3 beds and 2 mattresses. We soon retired to sleep.
Next day, we woke up at 7:30 AM. We all had a very good sleep of about 5 hours. Now I was a bit fresh so took some pics of the hotel and Naran Bazar (which I now call a hotel jungle)..
This was the random hotel where we stopped last night..

The Naran Bazaar, turning to Murree with every passing day.
No shortage of jeeps in Naran..
