Sharing some awesome moments of Ziarat Trip. The program was decided on 11-10-2014 but due to some reasons we postponed for a week so on 18-10-2014 Saturday we bought some food items from Quetta and started our journey to Ziarat around 2130hrs, after 2hrs drive we reached at rest house. Weather was cold and temperature was below zero degrees in night but afternoon was normal.
Some information about Ziarat for PWs Members. The word "Ziarat" means "Shrine". Kharwari Baba is believe to have stayed in the valley and blessed it. He was a member of Sarangzai Tribe and his real name was Mullah Tahir. Later he became a discple of Nana Sahab, a number of miracles are attributed to Kharwari Baba. The Shrine of Baba after which Ziarat was named is located 8kms away from Ziarat Valley and visited by a large number of people to pay attribute to the divine soul. Ziarat takes pride in hosting Father of Nation The Great Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on a number of occasions. He also spent the last days of his life in a Residency there, which was constructed by British Government in 1882. Ziarat is also know for having largest Junipar Forest reserves in Pakistan. The valley is 8400feets (approx) above from sea level.
