Sallam:
recently i read an article from travel guru and history expert salman rashid abt the existance of a unique derivative of the famous Brithish stonehenge here in pakistan infact very close to me in swabi.... he has called it the Pakthoon Stonehenge...
u can get all the details on this link Salman Rashid: Pukhtun Stonehenge
well to cut short it is in asota village in shewa area of swabi.... that area is very rich in these historic relics and i have been to many other places there like the ruins of shabazgarhi, jamalgarhi and rani ghat..... this was very surpising for me so on saturday i sought help from my local asset Ismael Khan who is a good friend and travel companion also... he guided me and acompanied me to this place... it was fun... its existance sems like a mircle really how it has survived all this time.....
it was just 80Kms from wah cantt......
we also had the famous beef pulao of shewa jo 1 kg tool kar daiday hain.. this is the first time i have seen this ..... i too very less pics as its just a small enclosure....
