yup either slow down before entering the curve or start turning a little so that you follow the curve from the start. Making aggressive manoeuvres while turning is what causes crashes.
some side notes: Braking hard while making the turn also reduces stability and keep the car in gear. A car with engine disengaged is more prone to get out of control. i have not tried myself but i have heard that if you are facing under-steer, increase the gas and if you are facing over-steer then let your foot off the gas. Can someone confirm?
