So, I've a little update. The injured students are in Army burn center Kharian, my friend (neighbour) visited them on the day of the crash with a couple of other Foundation University students. One kid has 80% burns and is on ventilator at the moment, the others are non-critical. As per them the Vigo rear-ended them and then the car swerved, hit the divider and flipped. They said fire started coming from the AC vents in the car when it flipped so the fire actually started from their car and not Vigo.
As per initial investigation and the CCTV camera footage, the Vigo was in the fast lane and was speeding (like most sarkari vehicles) and the car was in the 2nd lane. What happened was they (car) started going towards the fast lane without indicator and the fast-moving Vigo was also coming up to them at the same time and then hit the car from the back and we all can see what happened afterwards... ._.
Yes, the body was in a very bad condition, totally burned. My friend actually saw the body in the mortuary and what he describes is pretty gruesome, I can't even imagine what his family must be going through right now, may Allah give them courage to bear this loss.
