oi hoi! It's in great condition now, I've pampered it with Megs new car kit, clean the inside twice & thrice a week!
Me and another friend, we went for a long trip- FSD to Darra Adam Khel.
We left FSD at like 4 am in the morning and reached RWP at 6 pm at night. On that day, there was a Protest going on ( 7-10 December, can't remember properly ), so all major roads were blocked, especially IJP Road. We were stuck for like an hour in the lines. I was going to stay at my friends Sisters' place for the night, before returning the day after.
I wear contact lenses and have extremely bad eye sight, I rubbed my eye too hard and the left one fell out, so my eye sight was 50-50. I kept on driving, thinking that I am ' The ultimate driver '.
Before entering Committee Chowk underpass, I overtook the same Rangers Hilux from the left and my speed was 65-70 km/h, keeping the same pace as the other cars. When we reached close to the middle of the underpass, a GLi Auto driven by a driver decided to slow down to walking pace ( They had installed Drain gutters there ), every other car zoomed past... ( lol ).
Me with bad eye sight and a stinging eye, didn't see the brake lights properly, till I was like 10 meters away from it. I just slammed the brakes and felt the ABS kick in, then * Duzz, bham, smash *.
Till now, I blame many things for this accident, but then I always remember- It was my fault, I was from behind. I had some problems with either brake or bearing of the wheel ( It kept on making some knocking type of sound ) because we took the Talagang-Jand-Pindigheb-Kohat-Darra Adam Khel-Peshawar route and there are a lot of twists and turns on the way, so we had to brake a lot!)
My friend was like ' Wtf faiz, whatcha do ? ' I was just thinking....Brake nahin lagi?
Then, 5 seconds after, * Bang * from behind- The Rangers Hilux wasn't aware as well, same situation as I was in. A few cars, managed to dodge the Rangers Hilux from behind as well.
It was an expensive lesson.....
Now, I drive at max 60 km/h in Faisalabad and I ******* keep my distance.
So, drive sloooooowly, especially in foreign cities!
