My swifts brakes have been behaving oddly lately.
story is as such.
I notice brakes making odd sqeaking and GRR GRR noise a while back .
I take it to the suzuki center.
They tell me alignment is off ( the driver side wheel was unevenly worn )
I also noticed that the right wheel when the car was up on jacks is hanging lower then the left side. Not by much, but about a inch, maybe 1.5 about.
I dident have time to get it aligned right there and then, and the alignment was not to such a degree that it is a large issue ( going straight on ring road, let go of wheel, it takes the car 10-15 seconds to turn noticeably to the right side. )
I also notice that when someone else is driving the car, the brakes let out a high pitched squeak when used.
Note there has been no degradation in braking performance whatsoever. There is also no shaking , jerking , shuddering or anything like that during braking. aside from the GRR GRR / squeak noise every now and then, they work fine.
Ill be getting my paycheck in a few days and will go get the car aligned, and deal with the worn tyre but can anyone tell me anything about the squeaking brakes and one wheel being lower then the other? Is this any sort of brake rotor damage or suspension damage?
Or should i just get the car aligned and then see if there are any noises.
