Absolutely, my aspire unit does the same, even after the software update or whatever. It didn't do it before, though if I remember correctly, it only took 1k kms for it to start doing so.
I haven't asked around for a solution as I usually turn the car's Bluetooth off and on again, and wait for it to connect to my phone. Never once does it properly connect after I get in if my phone hasn't been connected in a while, but if I connect it once, it'll connect as soon as I get in the car afterwards, although, only for that day.
These Android units are so frustrating to deal with, Haval and Hyundai/KIA's oem systems work so well, even my relative's Insight's unit works just as well, hell even Toyota's android isn't as annoying as Atlas's.
