I understand it's hard for you to believe what I say, and other experts say on this forum. The reason is your drive Toyota, and it has one of the best CVTs in the market in terms of reliability. So you think if it doesn't break for you, it should not break for anyone else. Unfortunately, that's not the case of CVTs from other manufacturers.
2nd best CVTs are from Honda. Worst and least reliable are Jatco and Subaru. Jatco CVTs are used in Nissan, Suzuki, and Mitsubshi vehicles, and they are the main reason CVTs got bad rep.
I know you may still no believe what I say, even if I share experiences of mechanics who rebuild transmissions. So the only thing I can share is Nissan owners in US and Canada took them to the court for CVT issues.

Suzuki is not doing business in US/Canada otherwise they would have been in the same place.
Honda CVTs are considered as 2nd most reliable CVTs, but they break if you abuse them. Honda Avenue is the only dealership in Islamabad that I know who rebuild CVTs. I have data from Honda Avenue where Civic X 2016-2019 frequently comes in with CVT issues which require rebuild or replacement. This is the case of Honda, imagine what could happen with Suzuki since Jatco is already well known globally for poor reliability.
If you talk about latest feedback from people who rebuild transmissions, Jatco's reliability has improved over the years, but they are still far behind Toyota and Honda. Sharing one example of Toyota certified mechanic who do car reviews from mechanical point of view. Listen to what he says about Jatco/Nissan CVTs.
Video will start playing at 5:22 where he talks about the trasmission
I can share hundreds of such examples not from normal people but from technical persons who actually work in the industry.
