I wanted to buy the new N7X as a first buyer.
I was sure that all the shortcomings of BRV would not be present in it.
- tyre noise (even after damping all the doors at a cost of around 15,000
- Braking "thrill" in the first 2 inches of braking.
- Height low (at 200 mm) new brv would be 220 mm
- High knee position while sitting in the last row
- Better type of seats of second row
By the way I have manual brv . Why? because i have to visit at least once a year minimum to the northern side (hunza , kalam etc) and I need all the 118 hp of the car for the climb). manual brv gives better mileage then the cvt one. manual one goes to 100 km in around 10.5 seconds as compared to 14 seconds in the cvt one as shown by Suneel Munj.
But brv will continue to sell. Toyota rush is around 80 lac and also its third row seating is quite tight and your legs get stuck in it while this is not the case of brv. but if N7X is imported then that will be nearly around or more than the cost of Rush. This will end up then just like rush with very very very low sales
Also toyota rush is underpowered at 103 hp and 135 newton torque and cannot match the speed and petrol mileage of brv. but design of Rush is nice and it looks like the little brother of fortuner.
