After test driving and doing extensive research on CLA as well as A3, these cars are entry level cars if someone want to upgrade to the luxury brand. Here in US A3 starts at 29900. At 29900 plus 8% tax and registration you get a base A3 with Leather interior as well as moon roof and led headlights and bixenon headlights. Base is 1.8 FWD. Quattro is 2L and starts somewhere little above 32000. Adding MMI navigation package it will jump to 35K plus. For B&O systen one need to pay extra 900. Top of the line variant with all bells and whistles will take you around 44K.
The interior is good. It's not that big inside as camry or accord. It's slightly tighter than a Civic or Corolla. It's basically same A3 hatchback with the trunk. It's on same VW MQB platform which is under MK7 VW golf. As I mentioned above Audi Pakistan takes European variants and the base models with base price will follow. I think the 4.5 million mark is for base model. Euro version comes with 1.4 and 1.8 TSI while 1.6 and 2L TDI engines. Current website details on Pakistani A3 don't talk about engine but looks like it will be 1.6 FWD.
As I am looking for a newer car and drove A3, CLA, 2 series and I will keep A3 on top with base models.
