Some updates.
So finally found a day off from work to start the work, i had 5 sheets of STP and 2 sheets of this sound absorber. It is 6mm thick and self adhesive(the best part) MUCH better response than underlay, and of MUCH better quality, Nauman Bhai and I have been following DIYMA and were in search of the material which they use for sound absorption in their installs, locally, after testing a couple of materials we found the sweet one :). Absorbs sound really well, the response in the doors, well let @stj174 give his reviews on that here.
Aeroflex .
Billa peeling the cut pieces to be put on the outer skin.
Looks and feels very nice and solid.
One door done with Aero.
Now it was time for STP, i must say STP is great, adds so well to the weight of the door, makes it extremely solid and rattle free. And the best part is it was fresh unlike the Dynamat i used in my 8Gen which cut my hands from multiple places, STP was easier to apply and very solid.
Final product. Used double coating of STP where needed.
Special Thanks going out to Nauman Bhai @stj174 for guiding me with the setup throughout, giving his reviews and testing new things in the setup to take it to the maximum potential. Thanks for always being the Audio Mentor.
And a shout out to all my lovelies, Coldie, Muneeb, Harisoo, Yawar, Bilal, Maddy Bhai. Good shiz boys.
Gayaka Gayaka!
