@ Dear Friends
Many thanks to all of you for your valuable inputs.
All the people that I have come across who own the local version of the Champ have pointed out the following problems:
1) No Intercooler
2) Underpowered
3) Rear seats very uncomfortable
The problems that I have heard from people regarding the Thai version are:
1) No gurantee of touchup
2) No gurantee of mileage
As for the UK verison and the Australian ones (Diesel versions), they are the same just that the UK verison has much lower emissions and has a heater. The only problem that is faced by all of the three versions is of the nozzles due to the pathetic quality of diesel that we have here in Pakistan. The Thai verisons can still run on this quality of diesel.
At all the owners of Thai Vigo's, can you give me a rough idea of as to what is the average mileage that you are getting from your Vigos. My running would be from Shahrah-e-Faisal upto Fauji Fertizer.
Currenty driving the UZJ-202. Problem with that particular vehicle is that you tend to get noticed a lot as not many LC's on that particular route and the other problem is that it is too high on fuel consumption, getting around 5 kms per litre on long route.
I request my friends again to help me out regarding my purchase. If any one has a Thai Vigo for sale in Karachi, models between 2008 & 2010 then do let me know, I need a clean ride, prefernce is a G grade with leather and electric seats but the car should be in good conidtion, (no back or blow in engine, no touchups, miealge around 50 k kms).
Once again, thank you all for your time and valuable comments.
With Best Regards,
Babar
