Whitmarsh insists DRS did not make overtaking too easy at Spa
McLaren team boss Martin Whitmarsh has rejected suggestions that the DRS made overtaking at Spa too easy, and believes it created just the right level of entertainment in the Belgian Grand Prix.
McLaren didn't change set-up for tyres at Spa
Martin Whitmarsh says his McLaren team decided there was no need for a camber change and that it could safely complete a stint on the blistered Pirelli tyres that Lewis Hamilton had to start the Belgian Grand Prix on.

Remember one thing, Hamilton's list of mistakes doesnot include Canada 2011 as it was by all means Button's mistake as he demonstrate later when he takes out Alonso too. Monaco and Spa mistakes are only to be blamed on Hamilton. Because in both races he tries to do something which for those corners was unnecessary, whether its taking out Massa or Maldonado in Monaco or crashing out himself in Spa.
The real question is why he wanted to take that line to enter the corner, if he is the best driver he should enter that corner a bit more tightly, why take the racing line. Also, as I said previously if Vettel can't take that line in Turkey then Hamilton also don't have the privilege to take that line in Spa. They both have did the same mistake and they both have suffer same consequences too.
Another question is Hamilton has passed Kobayashi using DRS then how is it possible for Kobayashi to remain alongside him till they reach the braking zone, Mercedes was the most powerful engine on the Kemmel Straight in Spa then what happened to McLaren of Hamilton that he can't take the advantage correctly.
As for Overtaking move of the race, it has to be Webber against Alonso on through the Eau Rogue side by side, and also don't forget Vettel against Rosberg on the outside of Blanchimont.
@Iamhulk
Just for you, I have appreciated Hamilton in 2007, when he was giving a hard time to Alonso, but after setting such high standard he is nowhere near his previous achievements. He is now having difficult time against Button who at best is an above average driver and before his title in 2009 was not even counted as a title contender because the only time when he was contending for the title was when every other team have come up with such a poor car that Honda BAR looks good and Ferrari have a real monster in shape of F2004.
So how can you expect me to appreciate Hamilton. Remember you are a Hamilton fan and I am not, I only appreciate him when I sees something extraordinary which unfortunately he has not shown off lately.
