@munkasir,
Good Balanced views... I agree with you.
@all ( specially the Genius Analysts Criticizing China ... LoL)... And BTW, I don' have Chinese connections, underworld or otherwise, nor I have a spouse from China.. LoL.. Although I wish I did..
Anyways,
Here it Goes..
For Pakistanis, the princes and the kings of Pakistan which includes everybody.. LoL.. the very people that COULD not do anything themselve.... Are best at being unfairly and unreasonably critical of others, i.e. Chinese in this case..
The whole world is recognizing China and the Kings / Princes / Bhailoag of Pakistan think that China is still not at their level of liking.. Ha Ha...
So be it..
Keep in mind, if there is any country in this world that has helped Pakistan in whatever Industrializing it has achieved... or HARDLY achieved, its been China behind that achievement.. Be it The Electric Dams, the Mechanical Comlex, The Missiles, the Kamra Aircraft rebuild factory.. the khushab nuclear power plant, etc.
So, I would not be so Jumpy, when it comes to levelling comments on China's technology.
True they are not upto par with U.S. and Europe just yet, but it is U.S. and the Europe that are shaking in their pants whenever they hear the word China, as they now know, there is no turning back for China's advancement and the speed that it is advancing.
All aside, if you TRULY want to see some automobile industry progress in Pakistan, it will NOT be an American, Japanese, European or Korean company that will help Pakistan in making that industry grow and build up, but.. More than Likely a Chinese Firm... As has been the case in all the other Industrial development in Pakistan, such as Motorcycle industry for instance..
So..
Ditch your Old Tech, Mehrans, and Santro, those Japanese and Korean will not help Pakistan in attaining any Automotive technology.. They never have, and they never will. They are not sincere, they just DUMP old, outdated technology at DOUBLe the price in Pakistan, and Poor Pakistanis just love to buy, Mehran, and un-regulated and unsafe method of building Corollas and Hondas, that result in many crashes and deaths, that go un noticed, and happily Pay DOUBLE for those death traps.
Love Geely, Pakistanis, you will thank yourself for making a wise decision, for once in your life, since, only the Chinse auto companies offer some hope, in terms of Giving better and more Affordable choices, and eventually chance for Pakistan to be a Developed Country one day. Once these Geelys are built locally 100% in Pakistan and eventually they will set up a plant, if enough demand / respect for Chinese cars is there, who knows a Car Built by Pakistan as well might be a reality, after getting some help from the Chinese, as in the case of all the other industrial development in Pakistan in the past..
