i would recommend to go with toyota orignal coolant. its 4 litre pack would cost around 2200 Rs (make sure and find the orignal product). it will not let you down.
2nd best options are zic and caltex coolants.
Will be going with caltex coolant, 3L will yield 6L which will fulfill my requirement.

Yeah I know about the dyed water that's why m not going for some cheap local brand as available in market. Caltex LLC costs 700/L and has nice reviews.
Btw after the citric acid cleaning and radiator change, I was running it on water for leak tests and day before yesterday it's water body leaked as well. Achay se sabaq mil raha hai mjhe for being lazy in pouring in coolant.
Yup doing the same. One thing worries me a bit. I have thermostat valve installed n fans auto so when the system has water in it should it evaporate on optimum temperature or not ? If it's evaporating then finding leaks could be really difficult.
the system cannot evaporate water as its under pressure. water in a pot on a stove will boil at 100C while neat water in your radiator will boil at 104C because it has a radiator cap (imagine it being a pressure cooker) - adding coolant further elevates this temperature.
So that means water shouldn't evaporate unless the car overheats as thermostat valve maintains it on ~ 82C.
And I'll add coolant once m sure that system is leak free.
Thank you
Salaam Guys
I live in Karachi and have just poured 2 Litres of Guard Coolant (Green) into my Corolla 1.6 2003 after changing the radiator. Please tell me I have not just wasted 350rs per litre?

As Salam Alaikum bhaio, Bought Red Guard Coolant and the Package Still does not mention the Contents of the Coolant other than that it should be used in 50/50 Coolant to Water Ratio....I am going to Test it First in a freezer....Have put it in let's see the Results in a Day
Well I Just Checked the Red Guard Coolant Temperature after taking it out from the Deep Freezer....It's Plastic Bottle Temperature Read anywhere from -5°C to -8.5°C (Used Infrared Thermometer Which has a Range of -32°C to 400°C).....The Freezer Temp was anywhere from -11°C to -20°C.....The Coolant was in Liquid State and without any sign of Change in the state....Like I did not see any frozen bits in the Coolant ,all was as it was Originally at Room Temp.....Brother TinTin1 I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla 2.0D and was Previously Using Caltex Extended Long Life Coolant Concentrate....But now that my Head Gasket is Leaking and I am Back to Water for the Moment but had Bought this to try as I experimented with a Gasket Sealer and did not want to Use the Expensive Stuff.....Also I have also Come Across Fake Caltex Coolant which look Same to the T but are a little Lighter than the Orange Color and look green instead of the Original Orange (The Fake Bottle Looks Very Original in Packing Though)
brother get orignal toyota 4 litre pre mixed made in USA coolant sealed pack for 2K. its the best.

Contents of the coolant ( green labeled bottle ) are not mentioned on its label. Website of Guard Coolant is not accessible, neither is it its UAN mentioned on the label is working.Previously, I used Caltex. It was good, but I have no idea about Guard Coolant. Some people say it contains acidic contents, so Guard Coolant is harmful for engine as it is likely to corrode engine from inside. Please, advice do you recommend Guard Coolant?
IMO, you should avoid Guard coolant, and look for coolants from some reputed, International brands, like Aisin, Caltex, Toyota, etc.
Even ZIC is good.
