I'll try to get the tyres organised for my Civic this week. The weekend before last I pretty much bought a set of 17" wheels (7J wide) and 225/50/17 tyres (there was also choice of 215/50/17), the tyres were Dunlop LM703's. But when they were about to mount the first tyre on the wheel I noticed the tyre was early/mid 2011 production. They then promised to get me 2012 stock the next day, then there was two days of interruptions owing to strikes / dharna's out here. To be honest I wasn't so sure about those LM703's, I'd rather have got Dunlop Sport Maxx's. The vendor has had some Yoko's in the those sizes, not sure what model.
Now I'm leaning more towards replacing the tyres only. 205/65/15 is what everyone seems to be getting installed to their Civic's locally.
Tomorrow morning I'm taking my car back to the dealership where it was delivered for someone from the leather supplying company to inspect the interior. Upon delivery I'd noticed a bolster on one the seats was out of shape! Subsequently I found small pin head size damages in several areas. I still prefer this interior.
I also have to find time to take the car to Trackingworld, the vendor for the factory fitted navigation to have the haziness in the reverse camera video looked at and learn how to get the head unit to shuffle. I went for this option for the camera and bluetooth connectivity, these are both invaluable for me. Before getting the car I had my mind made to get some quality speakers installed but so far the sounds are liveable.
