my dad owned an alto and kept it for 7 years. he was super satisfied. small, compact, easy to park, halwa for even a deaf and blind mechanic - the day i insisted in buying a liana, he scolds me each day for it - just because it is too too big, long, wide and very very complicated! its my personal experience that even big workshops in a city like karachi simply refuse opening bonnet of a liana for just a reason 'ye halaqq me aati hai'...
since my father is almost in same age bracket i will NOT recommend you to buy a liana/beleno for her. try to buy her a brand new car ( WagonR, Cultus) which will be trouble free for atleast 5-6 years!
