its good to know that you have read the manual yes if we don't follow
all the things mentioned in user manual rather we be extra careful for
our rides how ever if you follow user manual still no damage will be done
to bike as manufacture knows about their bike like example of engine oil
if you use good quality engine oil you can drain it on 2000km but do not exceed
this max recommended oil interval by manufacture if you love your ride more
or passionate about it you can drain engine oil on 1500km
in user manual for break in period its recommended change first two oils every 500km
after 1000km its recommended to change oil every 2000km
there are things in manual which no one recommends to do specially mechanics and i have
observed this too its pretty useless doing so but its recommended in manual i am talking about
cleaning of centrifugal oil filter its mentioned in manual clean it on 12000km i guess but if you
ask mechanics they say absolutely no need of cleaning it and to access this right clutch crankcase
has to be open so i think almost every one would hesistata to get this opened just of cleaning this filter
i have seen these filters of very old engines once i was at mechanic shop there was CD100 it seemed very old
but still its filter was clean mechanic was saying i have watched more old bikes filter there is no need of cleaning it
So there are things in user manual which many would avoid following but still user manual is important to read
there are very useful tips in it & good info about your bike in it so its necessary to read it specially for newbie
