First point: Whats up with my grammar? Tell me something, when you drive towards a wall and crash into it, does your car not come to a stop all mangled up or naaa, you decide to floor it again and keep bashing into the wall?
Second Point: When you have an impact, especially when you hit a tree, this is what usually happens. The point of impact cannot travel further, but since your car is still carrying momentum, the ends of your car will try moving forward but they cant since they are all part a single structure, ie your car's chassis. In this case, the body tends to bend or wrap around the obstructing object. The longer the car's length, the higher the angle of bending from the point of impact. Of-course, if the chassis is not strong enough, the car will end up splitting in half ( Look for that mehran accident on 7th avenue here on PW ).
Some pics to tell you what Physics is all about
3rd point: Did you even read the full sentence and know what stage of the accident I am talking about or are you just really trying hard to sound dumb? The pole, after the car has hit it, will exert an equal force in the opposite direction of the car. At this point, you, as a occupant in the car, will still move forward and hit your head or get thrown out of the car if you aint wearing your seatbelt.
4th and 5th point: Read the post I quoted. Read it carefully. Then read what I wrote. I'm gonna go and bang my head against a wall now.
@xulfiqar Is there a easier way to explain this?
