Fuel pump is stock. Direct fit onto the swapped engine; dont know the specs star2. I am kinda new to all this - started to look into all of this after the swap. Lemme know all you require for the diagnosis please, I will get it
gracias....
All you need is, you have to straighten up the wiring yourself. To start up with, supplying ECU power from your chabi switch, as it should. But first, you should show me pictures, so that I can get hold of the situation....
Good Going..... @star2 will guide you ............as he recently done his swap....!!
Hmmm. Thanks @star2. I will be managing some time this weekend for the required pics - will post then
Swaps can be very hectic. Did two and mere buss hogaye. Next i have planned a swap and I done a deal with a guy I know in market. He will take engine out from Half cut including the complete wiring from the engine bay and complete dashboard wiring no wire will be cut. Grip to Grip :p.
Anyways good Luck to you
But you seemed pretty happy with the results from that 7A-FE. Why selling it now and planning other swap???
Yes More than Happy with 7AFE. But its been around 2 years and I need some thing to work on again
Goodluck :)...Yes you are right. Previous Motor was all messed up so just went to the guy for the purchase and he recommended the QG18DE - it is a good engine but I never imagined the mess I would have to deal with afterwards. Really dont have much time to spend fixing all this; wish I could just find an expert, hand him over the car for a day or two and be done with...
It still is a great learning experience.
Guys, by chance, does anyone have this factory sale 50pcs OBD2 OBDII Pigtail Connector Harness 30cm wire-in Connectors from Electrical Equipment & Supplies on Aliexpress.com

The ECU really does seem to be a mismatch. @syncview... Thanks Loads @syncview @star2 please see if you can find a list of ECUs compatible with the QG18DE motor; I will ask Mushtaq sb to arrange one (stacks of ECUs in Saddar - fingers crossed)
I faced this situation in my swap as well. This ZZ ECU is not compatible with JDM QG18DE which by the looks of it is what you have. You need OZ MEC11 - 022
@spectra.. Thanks bro. I will hit the search for it. Will get things moving when the right ECU is plugged in.Read through @star2's swap thread and I was like "woooooooow"...
Don't tell this to @spectra bro, please
I guess the ZZ ECU is for QG15DE???
Not necessarily, it is for some non JDM variant of QG18. I think it handles more then one O2 and has slightly different maps. Cannot wont with a single O2 engine. But this is only my guess. Experts (if they want to share openly) can tell better.
