[QUOTE=ahmedraja1996;4539690]Havoline doesn't have 10W-40, Caltex Havoline is available in 20W50 10W30 and 5W30 only. ZIC A is 10W-40 API SN.
And personally if any one asks me i won't recommend havoline unless he has a dead engine, because it has old API grades with odd viscosity, 10W40 and 5W30 are best oils according to pakistan climate and if car is too old or engine reduces oil above the acceptable range then Havoline 20W-50 motor oil. For mehran i recommend 10W-40 and you can get ZIC SHELL CASTROL all have 10W40 with good API ratings but ZIC has most advanced API, and believe me after opening Toyota 2E engine which was driven 220k kms on ZIC A it was so clean that it didn't looked like it has so many kms so ZIC is good oil it keeps engine clean you drain it at 3-4k best intervals.
So should I go for 10W40? points to remember are my car is Cultus 2007 VXR (carby) and engine is not too bad (80K driven.. hoping meter hasn't been tempered) .... as mechanics here prefer to use 20W50 in such cars...
isn't 10W40 a think oil which can cause leak or heating? and ZIC is the one to go with?
Thanks!
