welcome to the club usmaan888 your dad has real tough jeeps which have proved themselves specially in Pakistan.
can I join in the club without owning an offrod Vehicle................................
@javihafeez you are most welcome without offroader. we will trap you to buy one soon.
@Redbull_ar you are very right I mixed you with Salman_m5, sorry.
So whats happening with the club? I'm a long member at offroadpakistan.com - would love to go on any offroad trips you guys are planning from Karachi. I am actually itching to go these days
Same here, a trip would be awesome, especially since it'll be my first with everyone here:D
Totally. Is there a mailing list or something we can use?I can set one up if you guys need it - easier to communicate than via a forum.
Yeah I think that would be a good idea, take everyone's opinion though.
It is so nice to see Karachi members active, please go ahead with some offroad plan soon. The idea of the mailing list is very good. Take care
Well if people agree I can start a googlegroups for Pakwheels Offroad club. Will give some structure to the club as well I can take care of this if people here agree. Let me know
Yeah that sounds like it'll make things easier. If we're planning a trip should we get it in before Ramzan? Any other members seriously interested in having an outing before then?
@usmaan88 your avatar pic, is it Hurricane F Head 134?
Yes sir it most certainly is. My favourite engine from my favourite Jeep, a 1952 Willys M38A1 Military Vehicle. Still looking for one with its original engine and 3 speed gear intact.
I have one of those, all original it even has the original dynmo and is still foot start.
Any idea where I might find one? I doubt you'll ever sell a rare piece like that:P. I did find one with its original engine near Shershah actually, but the condition was too far gone and his demand was ridiculous. It runs though apparently.
They are available in Rawalpindi, you will have to restore them.
I saw another junk today, its not an M38A1. Seems like one of the earlier 4 cylinder CJ5s. Will have a closer look today.
